Polarity Analysis Hints for Professional Homeopaths

1. Use a small number of highly reliable rubrics (modalities mostly).

Reliability for cure is critical.  So use reliable data.

Green rubrics are best. Lower reliability rubrics often confuse the analysis. These reliability colors are based on Dr. Frei’s experience.

2.  Begin a rudimentary squeezing down the size of the case by taking only rubrics that have changed since the crisis.  You do not take every rubric that you know about the case.  That is impossible, but even if you could cover the person's whole life, that would be a poor strategy.

Cut down the size of the case.  However, while you are squeezing the case, you also want to be taking the big chance that you will later use to confirm the remedy using other homeopathy references.

3. Do not use rubrics expressing normal conditions or chronic conditions. E.g., If she is cold when menstruating but is normally sensitive to cold, do not use that rubric. There are some cases that have unclear boundaries. Those are certainly more difficult.

4. Do not repeat rubrics. Worse laying on the painful side could be the same as worse pressure.  Take one appropriate rubric.  A smaller, clearer case is better.  Fewer accurate rubrics are better.

  6. Check and recheck rubrics for accuracy.  One inaccurate rubric can lead to the wrong remedy.  Especially check the counter-indications.  Elimination of a remedy because of an inaccurate rubric will lead to the wrong remedy.
