Constipation Cleaning

Dirty Intestines

The insides of your intestines should look shiny and clean. Similar to your mouth, the surface should be smooth. If you are often constipated, this drain pipe becomes covered with a dark slime. Hopefully, your intestines are only dirty. Hopefully, there are no ulcers or holes.

Cleaning

Psyllium husk powder

Psyllium husk powder makes the feces (stool/BM/poo) absorb water. It becomes bigger and easier to pass. It you take 2-3 Tablespoons per day, you will never be constipated. You can buy the Indian powerder, but it is the same thing.

Expensive Japanese ISAGORU

The powder is very hard to swallow so the Japanese have processed it to it is easier to swallow. These little packets are much more expensive. I use it for busy traveling schedules.

How to drink

The key to easy swallowing of Psyllium Powder is to fill as small jar half full of cool water. Put 2-3 tablespoons of psyllium in the jar. Cover the jar and shake vigorously. Drink the mixture quickly.

Problems with slow drinking

If you do not drink it quickly, it will become a gummy soup, which is very hard to drink. The gum sticks to your teeth and tongue. My Indian friends tell me that they were forced to drink it as children and they hated it.

Tricks to drinking

The trick is to drink it quickly. If you can not drink a half jar quickly, then fill the jar ¼ full of water. Make the mixture twice. Or take it several times a day. I put 1.5 Tablespoons in a jar and drink it on waking in the morning and before dinner. It will suppress you appetite, so if you are trying to eat more food, then drink it after dinner.

Traveling and Cleaning the jar

When I travel I use a smaller plastic jar. I keep a bottle brush with my psyllium jar to clean it.

Trick 2

Magnesium is easily absorbed from vegetables. Many of us need more vegetables than others who eat with us. It is necessary for the health of our nerves, muscle… Really, any important process in our body depends on having enough magnesium. Magnesium is like a stone, it is a hard mineral. Our body will not absorb it easily from pills if the pills are not combined with either glycerinate or citrate. It is good to alternated the two types of magnesium. Magnesium glycinate is more expensive than magnesium citrate. Similar to Psyllium, magnesium will add water to your feces.

Magnesium acts faster than Psyllium. When I am in a hurry, I take several pellets to speed up my morning bowel movement. Even if I am not having a problem with bowel movements, I take a pellet just to feel more relaxed.
