Where to find Remedy Descriptions

Everyone loves reading paper books. But my house is small, so I limit my paper books. I have electronic devices and a computer to read books. If you are looking up short descriptions of remedies, you can find them on the web. Web authors typically have unclear identities. I like to know the authors and the reputation of my sources of information.

The books below written are for laypersons and professionals. They are the shortest summaries of the essential characteristic of remedies. Your job as a reader is to create your picture of each remedy. The characteristics of the remedy that he outlines are present in many cases. Note that if your case does not have the characteristics he describes, you should not necessarily eliminate it if it has other features.

You do not need to memorize these descriptions, except emergency descriptions. When you have an emergency, you have no time to look up remedies. At least in the beginning of an emergency, we choose the remedy to heal the most urgent symptom. Each remedy has one symptom that we do need to remember. For example, Arnica is for bruises, all head and spinal injuries. If you have nothing else, use Arnica for any wound or sprain. Usually, problems are more complex. We need to choose between several remedies. Below I suggest sources for your research.

Sankaran: the Creative entrepreneur

Rajan Sankaran is a second-generation homeopath, and he is also an entrepreneur. He sells a popular expensive software and teaches professional students of homeopathy so he can sell more of his product. He has also spent his career developing increasingly easy-to-understand methods to find the curative remedy. But again, his market is professional homeopaths.

Soul of Remedies

Vithoulkas: The classical revivalist

George Vithoulkas arrived from learning homeopathy in India and opened a clinic where he taught medical doctors. Before studying homeopathy, worked as an engineer. His style is practical and mechanical like his first career in engineering. He needed the prestige of medical doctors to spread homeopathy. So, he taught mainly doctors. Sankaran is also an MD, but his style is more poetic. Vithoukas expresses a more rigid style than Sankaran. He claims to be a Kentian homeopath. He is teaching the most common method worldwide largely because of his influence. I think beginners should learn a more reliable and more straightforward method, but at least some of his assumptions are common to all homeopathy.

Qjure: The Cheapest and most reliable source

The easiest way to find descriptions is on Qjure.com. For 10 dollars a year, you can access the most modern descriptions of most remedies as well as the descriptions from the most reliable traditional homeopathic literature sources. You need access to the web and knowledge of how to use the site. With some encouragement from readers, I will make a video about that.
