Foundation are more important than software
A beginning student asks Ellen, the homeopath, about her flu case. Later Ellen reflects on the students questions. The student said that she felt that knowing how to use the software was most important, but in fact, she was asking mostly about the foundation concepts of homeopathy.

I explained why she should continue with the remedy that first helped her. Now several weeks after the flu, she is discovering that this remedy is deeply involved with other forms of suffering that she experiences that have nothing to do with the flu. This is an example of an apparent acute illness that had deeper roots in the chronic case. This is very common.
